RECOMMENDED PARK BOARD ACTION:
* Approval of the Recommendation.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* The Al Ruschhaupt Connector Road Project will include monument signage and a road connection with a vehicular bridge between phase 1 and phase 2 of the original complex. The connector road will allow for the two phases of the complex to be connected for easier traffic flow within the sports complex from one side to the other.
* This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with Kimley - Horn and Associates, Inc., to provide landscape architectural services related to the design of the Al Ruschhaupt Connector Road Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Kimley - Horn and Associates were selected from a list of pre-qualified landscape architectural firms that Council approved on July 19, 2022.
* Kimley - Horn and Associates completed the 2021 master plan for the overall complex as well as the design of the newly constructed restroom building.
