RECOMMENDED PARK BOARD ACTION:
* Approval of the Recommendation.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with LJA Engineering, to provide design and construction administration services for the Wilson Creek Greens Trail Phase 2 in a contract amount of $225,150.
* This trail project will connect to phase 1 of the Wilson Creek Greens Trail and along and through the McKinney Greens parkland to Stewart Rd. This is a critical connection that will provide a continuous pedestrian connection from this park to Towne Lake and Gray Branch parkland.
* The proposed project will also include amenities such as:
o Trail improvements
o Bridge crossings
o Trail overlook
o Parking lot
o Trailhead
o Restroom Building
o Fishing Pier
o Site furnishings
* This item is scheduled for City Council consideration on December 5th.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* LJA Engineering was selected from a list of pre-qualified landscape architectural firms that Council approved on July 19, 2022.
