• Approval of the Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Annual Budget and the 2024-2028 Capital Improvements Program by appropriating $1,202,940 from the Library Construction Fund balance to the Capital Improvement Program for the Roy and Helen Hall Library Reimagine Project (LI2441) for architectural and engineering services.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The development of a needs assessment and master planning for the Roy and Helen Hall Library Reimagine Project was completed in February for the purpose of extending the life of the library by 10+ years.
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Annual Budget and 2024 - 2028 Capital Improvements Program to fund the project.
• There is a companion agenda item for a professional services agreement for architectural and engineering services with 720 Design Inc. related to this project also included in this council session.
