ITEM SUMMARY:
• Hirenkumar Patel, Jai Maa Bhagwati Krupa, LLC, and 2104 North Central Expressway, McKinney, Texas 75070 d/b/a Days Inn, in rem, desire to enter into a settlement agreement to resolve all matters in dispute as set forth in the lawsuit styled cause no. 471-00278-2024, currently pending in the 471st Judicial District Court of Collin County, Texas
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City filed a lawsuit against Hirenkumar Patel, Jai Maa Bhagwati Krupa, LLC, and 2104 North Central Expressway, McKinney, Texas 75070 d/b/a Days Inn, in rem, for violations of the City of McKinney’s Code of Ordinances present on a property operating as the Days Inn hotel. Since the filing of the lawsuit, all code violations have been resolved, the Property meets all local, state, and international standards, and the City has issued a Certificate of Occupancy.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The settlement agreement includes payment of an amount which will be used to partially satisfy the City’s costs in prosecuting the lawsuit.
