RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with FNH Construction, LLC, for the Construction of the Accessibility Improvements (Eastside Phase 2) Project (CIP Project ST1834) for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,900,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The project is providing new sidewalks or reconstructing existing sidewalks that are out of ADA compliance along Virginia St and Louisiana St between Graves St and Benge St.
* Various driveways and intersections will be reconstructed as needed to meet accessibility standards.
* Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc. prepared the construction plans for the Accessibility Improvements (Eastside Phase 2) Project (ST1834).
* The City issued an Invitation to Bid (23-13CC) to solicit responses from qualified contractors for the Construction of Accessibility Improvements Eastside Phase 2
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 1093 matching eBid Supplier Notifications which included fifty (50) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
