STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the public hearing be continued and the item be tabled until the January 10, 2012 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to allow the applicant additional time to finalize the request.
ITEM SUMMARY: The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 6.93 acres of land, located on the east side of Hardin Boulevard and on the north side of McKinney Ranch Parkway from “C” - Planned Center District to “PD” - Planned Development District, generally to modify the development standards and allowed uses. The proposed rezoning request reflects a mini-warehouse (i.e. self-storage) facility with a caretaker’s quarters above the front office building.
