RECOMMENDED PARK BOARD ACTION:
* Recommend that City Council approve a resolution for construction.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* The EA Randles Improvement project includes a new expanded playground and splash pad area with a basketball court, trail loop, entry signage, improved flat work and new landscaping, new pavilion, and site furnishings.
* City staff worked with Studio Outside, LLC, a landscape architecture firm, on preparing the construction plans and specifications as needed for project bidding.

* Staff, along with Studio Outside, LLC support, recommends awarding the construction bid to Millis Development and Construction - Dallas, LLC in the amount of $3,229,995.91 not to exceed $3,391,995.91.

* Action on this item will authorize a recommendation to go to City Council on September 5th.

* The City issued an Invitation to Bid (23-17CC) to solicit responses from qualified contractors for the Construction of E.A. Randles Park Improvements.
