ITEM SUMMARY:
• Two Glaval Titan LF buses are currently housed with DCTA.
• Re-branding of the buses have begun using TxDOT funds.
• FTA 5339 funds will be utilized for overhaul requirements.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• On August 30, 2017, the MUTD Board approved a recommendation to City Council to approve a Resolution authorizing a Recipient-to-Recipient Stock Transfer of two Glaval II Titan buses.
• The City of McKinney City Council approved a Resolution authorizing the recipient-to-recipient stock transfer on September 19, 2017.
• City of McKinney and DCTA staff picked up the buses from TAPS on October 30, 2017.
