RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Appoint two (2) regular members to the Building & Standards Commission, for partial terms:

                     one (1) membership will be effective this date to September 30, 2025

                     one (1) membership will be effective this date to September 30, 2026

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     In accordance with the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 126, the Building & Standards Commissions consists of at least five Council-appointed members authorized to enforce, serve as the board of appeals, make adoption and amendment recommendations regarding model codes.

                     Commission members are resident and qualified voters of the city, not employed by the city, and ideally include at least one architect, one general contractor or engineer, and one fire protection / fire safety professional.
