RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a revocable license agreement with CoServ Electric to relocate and install electrical facilities to align with the McKinney Soccer Complex Phase 2 Improvements project.
• The agreement is revocable, with an initial ten (10) year term and automatic ten-year renewals, and requires CoServ Electric to provide electrical service to ensure the McKinney Soccer Complex operates to serve the public.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• CoServ Electric has an existing line and facilities currently at the McKinney Soccer Complex.
• City requested CoServ move transformers to align with the project.
• CoServ Electric requires an agreement before installation of the utility service.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• License fee of $10.00 will be paid by CoServ Electric to the city.
