ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The grant will help produce one monthly vintage piano show each month, August to November, to a wide variety of McKinney audiences. 

                     The Vintage Piano Hour with Tony Stride explores a wide spectrum of ragtime music with each show unique in which pieces were played and to what degree the show was narrated.

                     Anthony Nagid is the producer of The Vintage Piano Hour program.

                     The season’s featured show will partner with the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts and Collin County History Museum.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.

                     Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.

                     In 2018, Nagid received an Outreach Grant of $1,000 and successfully completed all grant requirements.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     The grant request is for $1,000 and projected expenses for this program are $2,300.

                     The funds will be reimbursed in FY20.
