RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the formal rejection of all proposals received under solicitation 26-22RFP for Property Insurance.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Request for Proposal No. 26-22RFP Property Insurance to establish a contract for the City of McKinney on October 10, 2025,
• The solicitation was publicly advertised through the following channels:
o McKinney Courier Gazette
o McKinney TV
o Bonfire eProcurement, generating 145 matching supplier notifications, including four (4) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
• Two (2) proposals were received from respondents on November 6, 2025.
• After the review of proposals, it is the City’s recommendation to reject all proposals received under RFP 26-22RFP and take no further action on this solicitation at this time.
