RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     
•                     Approval of the attached Ordinance.
 
ITEM SUMMARY:  
•                     This ordinance amends expenditures in the FY2019-2020 Annual CIP Budget and the 2020-2024 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $900,000 from Parkland Zone 4 to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into the Old Settlers Renovation Project PK4398. 
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  
•                     This request will allow the installation of a commercial warming kitchen, security cameras, new HVAC, new roofing, improved fire prevention components, and enhancements to the landscaping and plaza at the front of the building.   
 
•                     An accompanying Resolution for a contract amendment for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) to the Design/Build Services Agreement is also on this agenda for Council’s consideration.
 
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:  
•                     The attached financial summary details the transfer of funds in the amount of $900,000 from the Parkland Dedication Fund Zone 4 to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into PK4398 Old Settlers Renovation Project.
 
•                     Upon approval of this agenda item the total project budget will be $5,200,000.
