RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Approval of Resolution

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The City of McKinney’s Procurement Policy and Procedures Manual have been updated for the following items:

o                     Increased the competitive solicitation threshold from $50,000 to $100,000 in accordance with SB 1173.

o                     Added provisions to address deficiencies related to FTA requirements.

o                     Modified the Change Order provision since that threshold did not increase under SB 1173.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     City Council last approved the Procurement Policy and Procedures Manual on March 31, 2025.
