* Approval of Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a supplemental agreement with Kleinfelder, Inc. to provide additional materials testing services for the construction of the Wilmeth Road (Lake Forest Drive to Hardin Boulevard) Project (ST1719) for an increase in the not to exceed amount from $195,000.00 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $240,000.00.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Kleinfelder, Inc. is currently under contract with the City for materials testing services related to the Wilmeth Road (Lake Forest Drive to Hardin Boulevard) Project (ST1719) currently under construction.
* Construction began in March 2022 and is expected to be completed by March 2024.
* The initial budget estimate was developed based on assumptions made of required testing to complete the project.
* As construction on the project has progressed, additional testing services have been requested due to an increased quantity of pavement and storm structures replaced throughout the project. Additionally, adjusted phasing of construction has led to an increased quantity of testing needs. Kleinfelder, Inc. has only performed observation and testing when scheduled and /or required by the City.
