RECOMMENDED PARK BOARD ACTION:
• Approval of the Recommendation.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with LJA Engineering to provide planning and engineering services for improvements to Towne Lake Park.
• The planned improvements include new parking, playgrounds, shade structures, restrooms, boardwalks, amphitheater, workout stations and shoreline restoration.
• These improvements are consistent with the Master Plan for Towne Lake which will further enhance the park and make it into a premier landmark within the region.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Master Plan for Towne Lake was approved in 2020.
