RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Approval of Ordinance

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Ordinance authorizes adding fees to the Fee Schedule for usage of personal use 95-gallon commercial carts in the CBD.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City offers 95-gallon commercial carts to qualifying businesses outside the CBD for up to twice per week service.
* The City deploys approx. 70+ communal, 95-gallon commercial carts in the CBD available to all business as part of the existing rate structure (L/M/H).
* CBD businesses that want a 95-gallon commercial cart(s) for convenance and have space on their private property to store a cart(s), may initiate a commercial account with the City's franchised hauler at an additional cost.
* This is specific to the CBD with up to six/seven days per week service at the same time and point-of-collection as the CBD communal commercial carts.
* There is approx.16 commercial accounts and 25 commercial carts, currently.
