COUNCIL GOAL: Maximize the Development of McKinney National Airport
• 3.1: Implement initiatives and strategies, including public-private partnerships, to attract and expand corporate and commercial aviation including the viability of passenger service.
• 3.2: Identify and implement land use regulations and policies which preserve and expand long-term operational excellence.

ITEM SUMMARY:
• The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Garver, LLC for McKinney National Airport Project AI2114, Taxilane A Rehabilitation & Construction.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The proposed scope of work will consist primarily of the design, survey, geo technology services, bidding phase service, and construction administrative services for Taxilane A Phase II.
• Garver, LLC, currently serving as the City’s engineer of record for McKinney National Airport (24-45RFQ), was selected through a formal Request for Qualifications (RFQ) selection process, and the scope of this project falls within the RFQ criteria.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Total design costs are a lump sum, not-to-exceed amount of $449,800 for this agreement. The City will be responsible for 100% of the design costs.
• Funding for this project is currently budgeted in Airport Construction Fund Project AI2114.
