ITEM SUMMARY:
• The attached resolution approves of a ten-year Water Rate Study with Willdan Financial Services
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Earlier this year the City of McKinney commissioned a ten-year rate study with Willdan Financial Services to analyze water and wastewater rates within City’s corporate limits and its ETJ.
• Willdan provided a Financial Forecast and recommended Water and Wastewater rates for the next ten years for the City.
• Willdan presented their findings and recommendations to the City Council on August 9, 2024.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• For the upcoming fiscal year, FY2025, the Rate Study was used to assist the City in determining the appropriate rates for both Water and Wastewater.
