* Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement number 5 with Johnson, Mirmiran and Thompson, Inc. to provide additional professional engineering services for the design of the Virginia and Throckmorton Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project (CIP Projects ST2235, WA2235, and WW2235 - Formerly CO2235) for an increase in the not to exceed from $1,350,000 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $1,450,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Johnson, Mirmiran and Thompson, Inc. is currently under contract with the City for the design and construction administration services related to the Virginia and Throckmorton Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project. As construction has progressed, the following additional services have/will be required which were not included in the original contract:
o Modifications to the waterline design and the utility duct bank design because of the Atmos gas line relocation onto the area where the duct bank was proposed to be installed.
o Additional coordination to address traffic control phasing changes and other unforeseen changes anticipated during construction of the project.
