RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Approval of Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Requesting approval of revisions made to the City of McKinney’s Grant Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Minor revisions were made in Article XI to address deficiencies related to grant requirements from the Federal Transit Administration.
• Article XII, regarding the documentation of anti-lobbying requirements, was revised to correct citations, remove redundant text, and clarify process and responsibilities.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• City Council last approved the City’s Grant Policies and Procedures Manual at its meeting on February 18, 2025. It was updated at that time to comply with new federal grant requirements and to include new internal procedures to improve compliance and communication.
