RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $2,842,427, as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Lockwood, Andrews and Newnam, Inc. (LAN). for professional consulting engineering services for the US 380 Utility Relocations Phase 2 Project (CO2637) for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $3,200,000[BS1].

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is in the process of design and right-of-way acquisition for the upcoming US 380 Bypass project between University Drive and Bloomdale Road (East). TxDOT has the Ready-to-Let date tentatively scheduled for June 2028. TxDOT has informed the City of McKinney that the construction of this project is currently not fully funded.
* The US 380 Utility Relocations Phase 2 project is required to relocate and improve the existing water and sanitary sewer mains and services to clear the proposed roadway facilities needed by TxDOT prior to the roadway construction.
* There is approximately 32,600 linear feet of existing water distribution lines ranging in size from 8 inch to 16 inch and 2,300 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer collection lines ranging in size from 8 inch to 12 inch along the proposed US 380 alignment that are ...
