RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
This Resolution authorizes an amendment to the contract to provide complete construction manager at risk (CMAR) services related to the construction of the McKinney National Airport Commercial Terminal located at 1910 FM 546, McKinney, Texas 75069.
The selected consultant, Swinerton Builders submitted a proposal to provide additional CMAR services for the McKinney National Airport Commercial Terminal (DTX) for additional scope of services including the construction of:
Ramp Ops Support Building (approximately $1.8 million)
Concession Area (approximately $1 million)
Airline Office Area (approximately $85,000)
The proposal submitted would not increase the overall project costs for this eastside development or require the need for additional funding and would be primarily financed by the use of project buyout savings, reconciliation of included project allowances, and remaining project owner and contractor contingencies amounts.
