ITEM SUMMARY:

This resolution authorizes the formal rejection of all proposals under Solicitation 26-37RFP Airport Terminal Food and Beverage Concessions

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The City issued a solicitation (26-37RFP) for Airport Terminal Food and Beverage Concessions on March 20, 2026

Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette

                     Posted on McKinney TV

                     328 matching supplier notifications

Out of 328 supplier notifications, four (4) proposals were received on April 16, 2026.

Two (2) proposals were deemed non-responsive due to missing required documentation. The other two proposal were evaluated a committee consisting of representatives from the Airport and the City Manager’s Office.

Following a review of the submitted proposals, the evaluation committee determined that none of the proposals met the requirements outlined in the RFP.

As a result, the Airport has decided to reject all proposals and re-solicit the services. Procurement Services will work with the Airport and the project consultant to revise the RFP with additional information that has since become available and issue a new solicitation for the project.
