ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     MCDC has awarded a total of $1,717,192.00 for the NeighborHub at McKinney - a project submitted by Sanchez Charities and owned and managed by Catholic Charities.

                     Dave Woodyard of Catholic Charities of Dallas will share information regarding the current project status and introduce potential considerations for MCDC.

 

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The mission of the NeighborHub is to be a resource advocacy and homeless prevention center designed to help people move from hopelessness to wholeness.

                     The NeighborHub vision encompasses policy, systems, and community engagement; navigation and care management; basic needs and stability services; immigrant, refugee, and cultural inclusion services; education and workforce development, and health and wellness services
