ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Jonathan Smith from Lake | Flato Architects will present an update on concept designs for the McKinney municipal complex.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

                     The McKinney Municipal Complex is generally located on the northwest corner of Virginia Street and Throckmorton Street, immediately east of the railroad tracks.

 

                     The City of McKinney has entered into a professional services agreement with Lake | Flato + Parkhill to provide architectural and engineering (A/E) services from project programming through schematic design in conjunction with the McKinney Municipal Complex Project (FC1707).

 

                     Lake | Flato + Parkhill is a professional services joint venture between Lake | Flato Architects and Parkhill formed to provide architectural and engineering services for this project and is based in Frisco, Texas. Lake | Flato Architects is an award-winning San Antonio, Texas based architectural firm that has a multi-faceted portfolio including civic, cultural, educational, residential and hospitality projects.  Parkhill is a long-standing multidisciplinary design firm with offices in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico that provides professional services including architectural, engineering and planning in a wide variety of project types.
