BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program (TBRA) was designed to assist low-income elderly households with rental assistance. Participants qualify for the TBRA program through the city when their leases come up for renewal. The MHFC has funded additional rental assistance beyond the TBRA in the past.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• $60,000 approved in the MHFC FY 2024-25 budget for TBD Projects
• $125,000 approved in the MHFC FY 2024-25 budget for Rental Assistance
• $0 spent to date
