RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $169,834.00 as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. for professional consulting engineering services for the White Avenue Sidewalk Accessibility Improvements (Redbud Boulevard to Tennessee Street) Project (ST2304), for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $190,000.00.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The FY24-28 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes funding for comprehensive sidewalk improvements along White Avenue between Redbud Boulevard and North Tennessee Street.
* Infrastructure improvements to the street paving, waterline and sanitary sewer line were completed in 2022 with CIP project CO2137.
* The project scope of work includes the development of preliminary design alternatives for sidewalk locations, topographical and boundary survey, and public involvement.
* Design will incorporate pedestrian walkways/ADA accessibility, reconstruction of driveways, grading, and other associated sidewalk elements.
* Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc submitted a response to 21-41RFQ for On-call Roadway Design Services and was one of eleven (11) firms shortlisted b...
