ITEM SUMMARY:
* Garver, LLC has submitted a professional services proposal to provide design and related professional services for the extension of Taxiway C from the commercial terminal apron to the end of Runway 18.
* The improvements are needed to extend Taxiway C to enhance safety of operations, while evaluating the runway safety area for conformance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-13B, and prepare the airport for planned future development.
* The scope includes preparing a preliminary engineering report, detailed construction drawings, specifications, instructions to bidders, general and special provisions, contract documents (plans, specifications, and estimates), surveying, geotechnical investigation, and design through 90% and 100% completion levels.
* Execution of the contract is contingent upon the City's receipt of FAA Airport Improvement Program Grant funding. A 10% match of $304,000 will be appropriated as part of the grant.
