RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with Freese and Nichols, Inc. to provide additional professional engineering services for the design of the Lela, Jones, Foote, and Bradley Street Infrastructure Improvements Project (CIP Projects ST2134, WW2134 and WA2134) for an increase in the not to exceed from $550,000 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $620,000

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Freese and Nichols Inc. is currently under contract with the City for design and construction administration services related to the Lela, Jones, Foote, and Bradley Street Improvements Project. As construction on the project has progressed, the following additional services have/will be required which were not included in Freese and Nichols, Inc.'s original contract:.
o Additional construction administration support services.
* Construction of the project began in February 2025 and is expected to be completed by July 2026.
* Freese and Nichols, Inc., submitted a proposal for $70,000 for these additional services ($620,000 aggregate contract total), which has been reviewed by staff and exceeds the previously authorized not to exceed amount of $550,000.
