ITEM SUMMARY:
• The Resolution authorizes the Texas Department of Transportation to act as agent for the City of McKinney for the purpose of receiving and disbursing all funds for the 18B Obstruction Survey and for the selection of the consultant and administration of contracts necessary for the implementation of the project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The FAA is requiring the Texas Department of Transportation to update the 18B Obstruction Survey to examine the obstructions within Part 77 surfaces of Runway 18-36 navigational procedures.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Total Project costs are estimated not to exceed $104,325.88. The City of McKinney will be responsible for 100% of the total project costs.
• Sufficient funds are available in Project AI2452, Extend Runway 18 Phase 1 - 500’ North to cover the cost of the 18B Obstruction Survey.
• Upon approval of this item, $29,895,674 will remain in AI2452.
