BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The P&Z was created under Chapter XIX of the City Charter to as an advisory Board to the City Council relating to all nature of public improvements, City Planning, opening, widening and changing of streets, routing of public utilities, controlling and regulating traffic upon the public streets and ways of the City of McKinney, and such other matters relating to City improvements as the City Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of McKinney may deem beneficial to the City of McKinney.
• The P&Z is comprised of seven (7) qualified residents of the City.
