RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $120,805, as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Terracon Consultants, Inc. for geotechnical and materials testing services for the construction of the Erwin Park Improvements Project (PK9143), for a total contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $140,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* A concurrent item is included on the Council Agenda recommending the award of a construction contract for the Erwin Park Improvements Project.
* Materials testing services will be required on the project to ensure construction materials used by the contractor meet or exceed City requirements.
* Terracon Consultants submitted a response to 24-13RFQ for On-call Miscellaneous Geotechnical and Materials Testing Services. Terracon was one of six firms shortlisted by City Council on March 5, 2024.
* Terracon Consultants has successfully performed in a similar capacity on numerous City projects.
