RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approval of Resolution

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This Resolution authorizes the formal rejection of all proposals received under solicitation 26-56RFP for Water and Wastewater Parts and Supplies.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The City issued a Request for Proposal 26-56RFP Water and Wastewater Parts and Supplies on June 19, 2026.

o                     Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record

o                     Posted on McKinney TV

o                     299 matching Bonfire supplier notifications

 

                     In response to all notices published, two (2) proposals were received on July 9, 2026 from the following respondents:

o                     Ferguson Waterworks

o                     North Texas Winwater

 

                     The proposals were reviewed by the Water and Wastewater Divisions and Procurement Services. It was determined that both proposals received were non-responsive. Procurement Services will be rebidding the Water and Wastewater Parts and Supplies contract.
