• Receive update and provide direction to Staff.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• The purpose of this work session item is to review and discuss the current standards and land use permissions for restaurants with drive-throughs in McKinney, including possible modifications for such based on Council feedback and direction.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• At the January 21, 2025 City Council Work Session, Staff gave an informational update on the state of development regulations for restaurants with drive-throughs. As a follow up to that discussion, Staff has developed options and anticipated impacts if changes are desired for the regulation of drive-throughs in the city.
