The applicants are requesting not to be required to replace one tree that has been removed from the front yard. EXISTING CONDITIONS: This lot is at the corner of Setting Sun Trail and Dog Leg Trail. There was previously a canopy tree in the front yard.
ITEM SUMMARY: A canopy tree was removed in August of 2023. McKinney Code Compliance investigated a complaint about the removed tree on June 27th, 2024, and subsequently issued a notice of violation requiring the homeowners to comply with the UDC Landscape Ordinance by replacing the missing tree. The City received this application for a variance on August 29, 2024.
