ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a design contract with Garver, LLC for the Enloe Road Rehabilitation and Construction, related to the McKinney National Airport Runway 18 Extension Project (AI2452).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The proposed scope of work will consist primarily of the design, survey, geotechnical work, and construction administration of the Enloe Road reconstruction.
• Garver, LLC, currently serving as the City’s engineer of record for McKinney National Airport (24-45RFQ), was selected through a formal Request for Qualifications (RFQ) selection process, and the scope of this project falls within the RFQ criteria.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Total design costs are a lump sum, not-to-exceed amount of $407,200 for this design contract. The City will be responsible for 100% of the design costs.
• Funding for this project is currently budgeted in Airport Construction Fund Project AI2452.
