RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Approve a resolution nominating a candidate for the Collin Central Appraisal District (CCAD) Board of Directors.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• A seat on the CCAD Board became vacant on March 30, 2022.
• All taxing entities may submit nominees to be considered. A resolution including the nominee’s name and address, must be delivered to Bo Daffin, Chief Appraiser of Collin County, Texas, on or before May 23, 2022.
• The Chief Appraiser will submit the list of nominees to the CCAD Board to elect a new member by majority vote.
• The newly appointed member will serve the remainder of the vacancy, which expires December 31, 2023.
• Current Board of Directors are:
o Gary Rodenbaugh, Chairman
o Brian Mantzey, Secretary
o Kenneth Maun, Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector
o Ronald Kelley
