RECOMMENDED ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with T.F. Harper & Associates LP of Buda, Texas for the construction of the McKinney Greens Neighborhood Park (PK 2109) for a total contract amount not to exceed $2,380,000.00.
* City staff worked with LJA Engineering, Inc. on preparing the construction plans and specifications as needed for project bidding.
* Staff, along with LJA Engineering, Inc. support, recommends awarding the construction bid to T.F. Harper & Associates LP in an amount of $2,245,535.24 along with a $134,464.76 contingency for a total not to exceed amount of $2,380,000.00.

* The proposed project will include constructing a neighborhood park and will include amenities such as:
o Play structure
o Walking paths
o Boardwalk
o Shade structure
o Parking lot
* The City issued Invitation to Bid 24-21CSP, Construction of McKinney Greens Neighborhood Park on March 31, 2024.
