RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This is a budget amendment for the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighters Facility Project to help ensure a safe and secure community and accommodate the growth and maintenance needs of the City.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• An accompanying Resolution for a Construction Contract with G2 General Contractors is also on this agenda for City Council approval.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget and the 2026-2030 Capital Improvements Program by appropriating $1,300,000 from the Public Safety Improvement Fund balance to the Capital Improvement Program for the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighters Facility (ARFF) Project FI2635.
• Upon approval of this budget amendment and accompanying construction contract, $64,000 will remain in this project.
