RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Approval of the Ordinance.

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This is a budget amendment for the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighters Facility Project to help ensure a safe and secure community and accommodate the growth and maintenance needs of the City.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     An accompanying Resolution for a Construction Contract with G2 General Contractors is also on this agenda for City Council approval.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget and the 2026-2030 Capital Improvements Program by appropriating $1,300,000 from the Public Safety Improvement Fund balance to the Capital Improvement Program for the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighters Facility (ARFF) Project FI2635.

                     Upon approval of this budget amendment and accompanying construction contract, $64,000 will remain in this project.
