ITEM SUMMARY:
• The MCDC board is committed to supporting City Council’s strategic goals and helping implement Parks and Recreation’s 2017 Visioning Master Plan.
• The purpose of this meeting and discussion is to share information on prospective projects and priorities for incorporation in near- and long-term funding strategies to ensure effective fulfillment of Council goals.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The MCDC Board and PROS Board will review prospective projects for MCDC funding in FY 21/22 within the context of:
• Projects permissible under state law (the Texas Local Government Code - Chapters 501 - 505;
• The 2017 Parks Visioning Master Plan; and
• Council Goals adopted in 2019.
