ITEM SUMMARY:
• This is a budget amendment for the Gabe Nesbitt Practice Field and Apex Centre Open Area to allow for additional resources to construct the project as designed.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• An accompanying resolution for a construction contract is also on this agenda for City Council approval.
• A project grant of $1,000,000 was approved for this project by the McKinney Community Development Corporation Board on July 25, 2024, project 4B2412.
o The $1,000,000 project grant was reappropriated in the McKinney Community Development Corporation budget for FY 25
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Annual Budget and the 2025-2029 Capital Improvements Program by appropriating a $1,000,000 project grant received from the McKinney Community Development Corporation in the Parks Construction Fund for the Capital Improvement Program for the Gabe Nesbitt Practice Field and Apex Centre Open Area Project (PK2554).
• With this amendment, the total project budget will increase from $200,000 to $1,200,000.
