- The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to request and implement a grant award to secure funding for the McKinney Green Gardens Mural Project.

- The McKinney Green Gardens Mural Project located in Gabe Nesbitt Park aims to enhance public spaces, promote environmental stewardship, and foster community pride through public art.
- The mural will be installed on a fence within the McKinney Green Gardens, a valued community green space that offers residents opportunities for gardening, education, and sustainable living practices.
- Keep Texas Beautiful provides competitive grant funding to support projects focused on beautification, litter prevention, and community improvement throughout the state.
- Securing this grant would help the City offset expenses related to the mural’s design, materials, and installation.
- The project will actively engage local artists, volunteers, and community members to create a mural that reflects McKinney’s dedication to environmental sustainability and community beautification.
