APPROVAL PROCESS: The recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be forwarded to the City Council for consideration at the March 31, 2025 meeting.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the proposed amendments.

ITEM SUMMARY: The purpose of these amendments is to bring Appendix 2B (McKinney Town Center MTC) into better alignment with the land uses and definitions outlined in the Unified Development Code (Chapter 150 of the Code of Ordinances) and to make corrections and other minor updates. The proposed amendments include:

* Nonsubstantive editorial changes including typos, reference updates, and clarifications to various sections of Appendix 2B; and

* Substantive changes to various procedures, use regulations, and development standards to Article 2 (Zoning Regulations), including Section 205 and Appendix 2B.
