ITEM SUMMARY:
• Renewal of the annual School Resource Officer agreement with Imagine International Academy of North Texas, LLC for the 2026-2027 School Year.
• 1 Officer is currently dedicated to Imagine International Academy of North Texas, and the unit is overseen by 2 Sergeants
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City of McKinney provides School Resource Officers (SROs) to the Imagine International Academy of North Texas, LLC.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• shall pay CITY the sum of $99,741 for the twelve (12) months for services rendered. This payment is for 50% of one (1) certified officer at pay step 7 and 25% of one-half of one (1) sergeant at pay step 4 provided by the CITY
• Funding for the remainder of the salaries, benefits, and operational expenses for the officers is allocated in the Police Department Budget.
