• This resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with The Equestrian Center at Whispering Farms LLC for Equine (Horse) Boarding at $1,625.00 per horse, per month, total of $58,500 annually.

• The City issued a Request for Proposals, 26-74RFP for Equine (Horse) Boarding on July 24, 2026.

• Of the 44 supplier notifications, one (1) proposal was received on August 13, 2026.
• An evaluation committee comprised of staff from the Police Department and Procurement Services reviewed and scored the proposals based on the following criteria:
o 35 Points - Proposed Pricing
o 35 Points - Boarder Services & Facilities
o 20 Points - Move-in Date
o 10 Points - Respondent’s Background
• The evaluation committee is recommending award and execution of contract with the top-ranked respondent, The Equestrian Center at Whispering Farms LLC for Equine (Horse) Boarding.
• The contract shall commence upon award and continue for a period of three (3) years with an option for two (2) additional one-year renewals.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• $1,625.00 per horse, per month, total of $58,500 annually.
