RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Approve the proposed membership, in accordance with the McKinney Public Facility Corporation (MPFC) Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.
 
ITEM SUMMARY:
•                     Members appointed to the MPFC generally serve until resignation, removal, replacement, or term otherwise vacated.
•                     Current MPFC Board of Directors
o                     Charlie Philips, President
o                     Geré Feltus, Vice President
o                     George Fuller
o                     Justin Beller
o                     Rick Franklin
o                     Patrick Cloutier
o                     Michael Jones
•                     The McKinney City Secretary acts as the Secretary during the meeting of the Board.
•                     The MPFC last met on December 19, 2023
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  
•                     The McKinney Public Facility Corporation was formed on June 21, 2022, for the purpose of financing, refinancing, or providing the cost of public facilities
•                     Member Qualifications:
o                     Must be the age of majority in the State of Texas
o                     Must be a member of the City Council, a senior staff person of the City organization, or a citizen of the City of McKinney, Texas, who has been appointed by the City Council
•                     The MPFC shall endeavor to have
o                     At least two (2) directors with financial experience, and
o                     At least one (1) director with real estate law experience
