ITEM SUMMARY: 

•                     This item is to continue in a Professional Services Contract for a 1-year term with 4 annual renewal options with Armstrong Forensics Laboratory for drug testing and analytics.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

•                     The Police Department has utilized Armstrong for six years.

 •                     Services include testing of suspected narcotic evidence for material verification and concentration including THC.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

•                     Funding for drug testing is provided in the General Fund - Police Department budget 001-3101-423-8516.
