RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Recommend Approval

ITEM SUMMARY:
* The proposed agreement would allow for the continuation of the PGA's CJ Cup Byron Nelson Golf Tournament to be held at TPC Craig Ranch. Highlights of the agreement include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Five-year agreement, for the 2026-2030 CJ Cup Byron Nelson;
2. Optional three-year extension (if executed will be for all three years) through 2033 Byron Nelson;
3. 30'x30' booth space in the hole 16,17, or 18 area or future mutually agreed upon location (like we had during the 2025 Nelson);
4. Updated promotional materials & signage;
5. Updated and more prominent location for the UNIQUE lettering;
6. CDC Double Ranch 17 Box;
7. Premium Suite Tickets;
8. Four Pro-Am tickets;
9. Two Honorary Observer positions;
10. Consolidated parking (all parking at the Collin College Technical Campus lot);
11. Combined "City"/"CDC" payment of $425,000, with annual 5% escalator;
12. City Provides Police/Fire Service with annual cap amount;
13. Agreement references the 1.5 Million CDC Grant; and
14. City to contribute 500K in infrastructure improvements (so long as invited spends 10 Million or more on course improvements) for the 2026-2030 tournaments, if the three-year extension is exercised, City will contribute 500K more.
