* The City issued Invitation to Bid 24-17FP Erosion Control & Miscellaneous Drainage Repair on November 19, 2023.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 877 matching eBid supplier notifications which included thirty-four (34) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers
* In response to all notices published, one (1) bid was received on December 7, 2023, from Jack R. Carpenter, Inc. dba Jerry Carpenter Excavation.
* The Procurement Services and Public Works staff reviewed and evaluated the single bid.
o Procurement staff conducted research to confirm pricing provided by Jack R. Carpenter, Inc. dba Jerry Carpenter Excavation was consistent with today's market.
o Staff recommends awarding Jack R. Carpenter, Inc. dba Jerry Carpenter Excavation of Allen, Texas as the best value for the City for their ability to meet the City's needs for Erosion Control & Miscellaneous Drainage Repair.
* Contract will commence on date of award and continue for one (1) year period with an additional two (2) one-year renewal terms.
